Ranger star of the week Nikolai Zherdev scored a game tying goal with 9 seconds left against the Penguins, bringing the game into overtime. We'll talk about how that game may have began a Rangers rally that could be a spark that ignites them for the rest of the year.     Ranger Nation Radio Week 1

    Lots of news in Rangerland this week. An impressing 5-0 start to the season was brought to an end when the Buffalo Sabres outplayed the Rangers on both the Power Play and Shorthanded Sides. Is this team more like what we saw against them, or how we saw them the first 5 games? Also, tragedy filled Rangers fans this Monday as 2007 1st round draft pick Alexei Cherapanov died from sustaining heart problems during a game in Russia. We'll offer our condolences and talk about the medical treatment of the Russian hockey league KHL. We'll also evaluate everything we've seen thus far, and take your calls! Let's go Rangers!
