Myth America Tonight -- The Convention & More

Join me tonight at 11pm as I examine the Democratic National Convention. Do you think it's going well or not so well. How did Hillary do? How will Bill do? And what kind of bump is Barack Obama looking at as Republican National Convention approaches?

We'll also look at the Biden nomination, the McCain short list, and time permitting, tackle some news stories.

    See you tonight at 11!

    Thanks!

Myth America Recap -- Swift Boats, Swifter Show

To recap last night's Myth America show -- it went by about as fast as a Swift Boat fact check.

We examined Jerome Corsi's new book attacking Barack Obama and the author's history of factless attacks on John Kerry, John McCain and George W. Bush. He's a crazy conservative who should drop the pretense and devote himself full-time to fiction. We also examined the tit-for-tat war that is the dirty campaign. Who said what about whom, and why McCain can't stop. The second half hour saw an examination of Barack Obama's V.P. choice -- who's good, who's not, and who will get the nod.

From there it was on to the news, where the only bright spot about the mortgage crisis is the ad dollars Obama will drop in the swing states. It's a buyer's market, if you can actually find a buyer. We also helped John McCain spin his idea that $5 million is the entry free to the rich American club.

And finally, we added names to our Honor and Dishonor Rolls, with last-minute honors going to the U.S. Court of Appeals in D.C. for its EPA ruling, and Barack Obama for his Hillary Clinton ruling. Those who should be holding their heads in shame? Rush Limbaugh for an unbelievable comment and Random House for bowing to fear.

Catch the show here. Thanks for listening!

Myth America --- Swift Boats, Swifter Attacks

We'll take a look at the new book by Swift Boater Jerome Corsi and examine this week's dirty ads; we'll also add names to our Honor and Dishonor Rolls

Myth America Tonight! -- Swift Boats, Swifter Attacks

Myth America Radio airs tonight in its usual spot -- 11pm. We'll get down and dirty with an examination of Jerome Corsi's new book, The Obama Nation, and marvel at the speed of rebuttal ads. Candidates fire back faster than angry Marines in Fallujah. From there it's off to the V.P nods with Obama expecting to announce as early as Wednesday and McCain on August 29 (his birthday). Time permitting, we'll go over the week's mortgage crisis news, hit some other top stories, and then, as always, end by adding names to our Honor and Dishonor Rolls.

    See you tonight! Thanks!

Show 6 Recap -- Not So Wasted Energy

Our sixth program, Wasted Energy, is in the can and ready for your listening pleasure. The first 30 minutes is a comprehensive look at the candidates' energy policies (hey, the great thing about I-net radio is we don't have to speak in sound bites)! We broke it down into various categories, with three points to Obama and one to McCain. Suffice it to say, Obama has a much better long-term strategy, but McCain does what he always does -- focuses on the short term.

We then moved onto a light-hearted look at John McCain's own celebrity status, from The Daily Show to The Tony Danza Show. He did The Tony Danza Show? How desperate is he to be famous?!! It finished with the satirical The Making of a President clip.

From there, it was a too-short look at the new style of American government, a topic we will explore in greater depths in coming episodes. But the big news -- I unveiled a new political term -- constituentocracy.

In news, we hit upon a poll that says most New Yorkers are more worried about paying for food than gas, a poll that could easily cover much of the country. And then we studied the recent drop in the U.S. trade deficit. Good news based on bad ideas.

George W. Bush found himself on Blonde Moment in Politics, and Hillary Clinton and Ron Suskind were added to our Honor Roll, while Rudra Sabaratnam and Estill Mitts, plus the Homeland Security Department, landed on the Dishonor Roll. Listen in to find out why!

Thanks for chekcing us out at BlogTalkRadio!
