Please pass this around. It is a web address to a PBS poll that asks if Sarah Palin is qualified to be vice president: http://www.pbs.org/now/polls/poll-435.html -- When I voted, days ago, the poll showed her losing. Today it is a tie vote. Let's put it over the top with YES votes and SHOW PBS a thing or two about conservatives. ---Debra J.M. Smith of www.InformingChristians.com

We will have some extra re-cap of last week's INCREDIBLE RNC Coverage. So, no, we weren't there, but we has some mighty good guests like Congresswoman Anne Northup, Lt. Nathan Bech, Jefferson County Repub. Chair Brad Cummings, and...wait for it...Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell! Bam! When I was a kid, my dad used to slap me on the left side of my head and say, "You little wing nut...go get me a beer." Little did he know he was making me into a big right-wing nut! Just kidding. But for some serious discussion on the issues of the day, join Nedd "The Stop the ACLU Guy," and me, "Mr. Right Opinion." We're all about the truth and letting you know about it too. We are both Christian, but not fanatical. We just seem to agree on alot of topics, such as Jim Jones makesw the best Kool-Aid. Actually, we are avid Christians, but we make no requirements on the belief or non-belief of our listenership. Tonight at 10 p.m., former speechwriter for President Bush (the elder), Michael Johns, will be joining us for two hours of lively insight and debate. Maybe we'll even get a presidential pick from him. You won't know unless you're here to listen in (or unless you catch the archives, which is cool too). But then when you call in on the archives, you're sitting there talking to yourself like a wingnut. You better catch it live, just to be safe.

If You Missed Thursday's Show, Check the Archives

If you missed the show on Thursday, Sept. 25, I strongly suggest you go listen to the archive. Michael Johns, a very knowledgeable economist and former speechwriter for President George H.W. Bush, was on the show, and he was GREAT!

If some of what's been going on with the American economy lately has your head spinning, this is a can't-miss show. Mr. Johns breaks it down into plain English for the common man (and woman). He really brought it down to a level even I could comprehend! And that's saying something.

Seriously, give it-and our other archives-a listen. I think you'll learn a lot. Don't miss it!

    Thanks,
    Mike and Nedd

We are conservative and proudly so. However, this does not mean that we will blindly follow the Republican party through the gates of Hell. We will, however, not pander to the liberal Democrat party either. We also feel it our duty to not allow the American public at large to blindly follow any candidate also. So tune in to be informed...we are on twice per week, so there is no excuse to be ignorant about the facts. I know times are pretty tough right now, but there is hope. As long as there is hope, we have a chance, therefore, we MUST be hopeful. We are Democrats, Republicans, or some third party people, but most importantly, we are Americans. Thus, we MUST act in the best interest of our country. Check us out. If we don't make your day better, we will gladly refund your misery!

***************ALERT*********************** As I just recognized the fact that today, Sept. 16, is Independecia de Mexico, which I can only assume means "Maxican Independence day," we will offer FREE TRIPS TO THE HOMELAND for all ILLEGALS! For official details, please stop by your nearest I.C.E. office. For special treatment, tell 'em Mr. Right Opinion sent ya! Tonight will be our second effort at trying a late show. Have I ever told you that "When I was a kid, my dad used to slap me on the left side of my head and say, "You little wing nut...go get me a beer." Little did he know he was making me into a big right-wing nut! Just kidding." We'll see if we can round up a guest, but if not, it's always fun to see which personality pops out of my head. There's Mike, the conservative guy, Mike the conservative guy, and then there's Mike, the conservative guy. And of course, we always have Nedd, the guy who wants to seperate the ACLU from "that special little place!" Go Nedd Go! Seriously, give us two hours, and if we can't fix the world, we'll leave it just like we found it-I promise.

Today will be our special 9/11 tribute day. We will discuss why we are in Afghanistan and Iraq, what it was like when the first tower was hit. We will try to have as guests, Chief Roy Orkies from the Zoneton, KY Fire Dept., and I am trying to line up a New York police officer, also...if not the big guy himself, Comm. Kelly. Plus, my good friend Dan Clements will stop by as well. Don't miss it! When I was a kid, my dad used to slap me on the left side of my head and say, "You little wing nut...go get me a beer." We're Making a Difference in Kentucky

Remember Mitch McConnell, the leading Republican in the United States Senate, who appeared on the "Mr. Right Opinion & Nedd 'the stop the ACLU guy Show" last week during the RNC? Well, we must be doing something right, because I just got the following press release.

    Cheers!

    McConnell Poll Shows 17% Lead

    Louisville, Kentucky

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell released a memo today from pollster Jan van Lohuizen to the McConnell campaign showing a 17% lead for the Senate Leader over Democrat nominee Bruce Lunsford. Read a copy of the memo here.

The survey of 900 likely voters conducted September 7th ? 9th by Voter / Consumer Research shows Senator McConnell in a very strong position for reelection. The margin of error is +/- 3.3%. According to the survey's findings:

    - 52% of those surveyed have a favorable impression of Senator McConnell while 33% have an unfavorable impression.

    - Senator McConnell leads Bruce Lunsford 52% to 35%.

    - Lunsford's numbers have weakened even as he has spent heavily on negative attack ads. Only 30% have a positive impression of him while 36% have a negative impression.

It is noteworthy that Senator McConnell has improved his position even while the political environment remains challenging. 28% feel the state is going in the right direction, while 53% feel it has gotten off on the wrong track.
