Michael Porter's WrestleShoot  

Coming up THIS Sunday, on the April 26th Edition of "Michael Porter's WrestleShoot" I will WELCOME ECW ORIGINAL, Bill Alfonso...aka "Fonzi"!

Alfonso refereed his first match in Texas at the age of 21.

He was also the official in a chain match between The ORIGINAL Sheik and Terry Funk!

Fonzi has been around the World of Professional Wrestling for MANY years, starting out in Florida working for Eddie Graham.

He then worked in every major American promotion, including the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling.

In May 1995, he made his debut in Extreme Championship Wrestling as a "trouble-shooting referee". Introduced there by Shane Douglas, he angered many ECW fans with strict enforcement of the rules and disqualifications of wrestlers for such ECW traditions as using steel chairs as weapons.

After refereeing for ECW, Fonzi then became the manager for Taz, Rob Van Dam and Sabu!

The show will air LIVE at 11:00AM Pacific Time (2:00PM Eastern Time).

Since we are in the middle of a TWO WEEK Hiatus for "Michael Porter's WrestleShoot", I decided to write a HISTORY of "Michael Porter's WrestleShoot" on www.BlogTalkRadio.com .

I brought "WrestleShoot" to Blog Talk Radio in June of 2008, with the first Episode being a 60-Minute "Test" Broadcast, along with my Co-Host, "Double R" Rick Rockwell...who would later leave "WrestleShoot" due to "confilcts" between "Double R" and a Blog Talk Radio Executive.

And so, I went it alone, with an ocassional Guest Co-Host, but ultimately deciding to go "solo" permanently.
