Counseling Tools, Techniques, Recommendations, and Discoveries with a specialty in Brain Fitness

Brain Fitness Programs I Have Tried and Like For about two months now I have been using four of the commercially available brain fitness programs in a little bit of a self-experiment. They are, in no particular order, Mind Sparke Brain Fitness Pro, Lumosity, Posit Science Brain Fitness Program, Brain Builder 3.0, which is being replaced by the new Advanced Brain Technologies Brain Builder. I have enjoyed all four of them, and I do notice a difference in my working memory as measured by the ability to remember strings of numbers, like website passwords or phone numbers or case numbers, and my focus is better, meaning I am able to stay on task more effectively. That is very important to an ADD type of brain person. Each of the programs is a bit different, in terms of purchase and use, but all are effective in enhancing and encouraging neurogenesis and neuroplasticity. As a 60 year old with a 10 year old boy, and a 4 year old daughter, I want to keep my brain as limber and fluid as possible, otherwise the new teen jargon will keep me in the dark about my sons misbehavior.
