March of Liberty Radio

March of Liberty and Hear My Thunder social community are dedicated to views from a Constitutional perspective. The thunder is that grassroots sound we hear surrounding key areas impacting our daily lives. There are countless people who are fighting for their causes and clinging to the remains of an unprecedented experiment. The experiment was first brought to life over 220 years ago by 55 enlightened men and the results of their thunder are truly inspirational. Their experiment, the Federalist Republic, must be revived and the radio shows presented here will be but a humble attempt to shine the light on our world from a U.S. Constitutional perspective while continuing the march of liberty. Dwight D. Eisenhower reminded us all, "Freedom has its life in the hearts, actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die." Join us in our broadcasts as we attempt to offer our efforts to earn and refresh liberty.

Show Notes

Our Sunday show (7pm EST) has guests and discussions with a focus on the original intent of our founding. It is an interactive discussion with the goal of education through conversation which leads us to more educated action. We support constitutional study and debate while not endorsing any particular party. All who care to share should bring friends and family together for a weekly discussion that strives to better enlighten us all. We will discuss current events and we do have spirited debate yet we focus on mutual respect while avoiding argumentative labeling and name calling. Refresh your mind and help refresh our minds as well. Make it a weekly scheduled event and we'll see you on the radio!

    4th of July Celebration!!

    March of Liberty

    Date / Time:

    Category: Politics

    Call-in Number: (347) 326-9311

    In the 1800s there was a tradition at every 4th of July celebration. There were parades, cookouts, games, and fun. Cannon fire, fireworks, and more. Yet there were two key traditions which we should consider giving new life to. First is prayer. No sect driven focus, simply a moment all shared in appreciation for the divine influence their Creator had on daily life with each other. Remember, governing is simply people agreeing how they will treat each other. Respect is the easiest, single word to describe a successful society governed in freedom. Second, and one we can all embrace, is the reading of our country's birth certificate. The Declaration of Independence always was read toward the end of the festivities. It was an honor to be chosen to read it. It would be good to hear it read many times, many places. Join us as we read it and celebrate together the beauty that is our heritage, our right, our responsibility. Bring your family and friends to chat. Call in from your favorite rally and Libertyfest.

    At Liberty Studios we are hosting a roundtable discussion with many folks joining us live just to discuss the daily assault on our values and original intent of our system. You can join in our roundtable so gather friends and family and lets talk... Everyday there is a new appearance filled with new rhetoric from our mainstream media and those holding political power. Countering this assault of misdirection and false hope is a growing reawakening of our foundation. More and more people are seeing past the illusion those in power would prefer we focus on. This is reality...or is it just optimistic thinking. Join us and share your observations. Do you see a reawakening in your area? Are we in the beginning stages of the 2nd Enlightenment Era? Kevin Gutzman Joins us Sunday at 7pm EST

    We hope you share with all your friends the upcoming show this Father's Day.  We are excited to share time with Dr. Kevin Gutzman, author of the Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution, Virginia's American Revolution, and co-author with Thomas Woods, Jr of Who Killed the Constitution.  From his website we learn;

    "Kevin R. C. Gutzman is the New York Times best-selling author of three books

    An associate professor of history at Western Connecticut State University, Gutzman holds a bachelor’s degree, a master of public affairs degree, and a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as an MA and a PhD in American history from the University of Virginia.

    Happy to be a former attorney, Gutzman devotes his intellectual energy to teaching courses in the Revolutionary and constitutional history of the United States, to writing books and articles in these fields, and to public speaking on related topics."

    I can tell you his efforts have helped me in my understanding of our foundational beginnings while guiding to realizations of incorrect paths leading us to where we are today.  He has appeared on TV and radio including a recent appearance on Glenn Beck.  His passion and insights are important for all of us to share and he shares them with an easy to understand style.  Please feel free to bring a friend and join in chat or call-in to ask your questions.

    We will see you Sunday.  By the way, don't forget our new Saturday show, Freedom is Rising.  We focus on basic foundational education.
