Do you Know What Happened on the Day of Pentecost?

The Book of Acts, Chapter 2, records the origin of the Christian Church. Yet, many “Christians” either do not know this critical scripture passage, or maintain ideas about it that bear little resemblance to what is written. On that day, Simon Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, made clear doctrinal pronouncements regarding the person of Jesus Christ, His relation to God, speaking in other tongues, the Resurrection, repentance, and the purpose and necessity of baptism. Yet many “churches” do not hold to these doctrines. They pick and choose and even alter what was given by the Spirit, through the apostle, to establish what is comfortable for them. Let’s take in the whole counsel of God regarding the day He founded His church. If you don’t line up with this, you may be in a line that leads away from heaven.
