  Rockin' Your World...if you lived in an Aquarium - Talkin' About LiveRock, BaseRock and DryRock
  

  16 June 2009: Live Rock USA is a Florida Company with Aquaculture and Mariculture sites in the Florida Keys. With more than 600,000 pounds of rock in 25 feet of water, LiveRockUSA is planning to add three more locations and 1,500,000 pounds of additional material.
  
  We'll be talkin' with the East Coast King of underwater rock, Gary Levine, in a series of BlogTalkRadio shows focused on the underwater world, the aquarium owner, the future of aquaculture and life in the Florida Keys.
  
  Gary, and guests, will talk about the difference in Live Rock, and the concerns about the point of origin of rock for the US Live Rock market.
  
  If you are concerned about overfishing and issues such as shark-finning, you need to be more aware of reef rock from Fiji and other exotic island nations. Each day, rock is ripped from the living natural reefs in Micronesia and other Pacific Ocean areas to be broken into smaller pieces and shipped thousands of miles to end up at the bottom of an aquarium in the United States.
   
  This destruction benefits few, while harming the quality of life, not only for the residents of the reef, but also for the residents of the nearby islands.
