Hey Mary Kay! I have a question: How important is it for us to have authors that write about the south?

As a proud Southern girl, I am so happy to see so much of our heritage represented in your books! How hard was it to go from newspaper journalism to writing books? What was your "A-Ha" moment that made you decide to write books?

I read somewhere that your passion is garage sales. Is this what inspired your next book, Fixer Upper? I can't wait to see you in Litchfield, SC to be the honored guest at a moveable feast. Looking forward to it.

I have a question for Mary Kay. What made you decide to come back to Savannah for your new book?
