    SHOW NOTES:

    11/30/08 -
    Helloooooo everybody!

This is Kay typing up the show notes for last night... on my day off! Woot. Can you imagine anything more fun than this? I sure can't.

Seriously though... here's what you missed if you were a schmo and didn't tune in to our special "Late Night" 8:30pm edition of Exposed:

    The Tunes:
    "Heaven's on Fire" by Kiss
"Nothing Too Much Just Out of Sight" by Paul McCartney
    "That Smell" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
"Rock N Roll Christmas" by Fryed Chickin

    KISS News:
    - Geoff called in to tell us that PodKISSt 11 is now available for download!
    - Paul Stanley is making two art show appearances this week on Friday and Saturday. If you happen to be in LaJolla, CA, check it out!
    - The Halifax KISS Expo is coming next summer! It's never too soon to get ready for that, my friends. Craig called in to give us the low-down. (check 'em out at http://www.myspace.com/halifax_expo )

    Classic Rock News:
    - The controversy over Guns & Roses' CHINESE DEMOCRACY just keeps going strong! Axl Rose is pissed at Dr. Pepper and China is pissed at Axl Rose. Go figure.
    - The Catholic Church has decided to give that "forgiveness" thing a whirl and stop hating John Lennon for once claiming the Beatles were bigger than Jesus. Elsewhere, it turns out Eleanor Rigby WAS a real person. Oh, and if you want to download the Beatles on iTunes... keep waiting. Negotiations have stalled again.
    - Barry Manilow is great for tormenting criminals!

    Classic Rock Birthdays:
    - featured Birthday artist: Gary Rossington of Lynyrd Skynyrd
(Kay recommended Take a Walk on the Dark Side by R. Gary Patterson)

    Fun and Games:
    - Kay and Abi spent some time bashing the videos of the 1980s in a segment entitled "Thanksgiving Classic Rock Video Turkeys". Journey was chasing David Bowie in a skirt?? Dennis DeYoung had some bad acid? And what exactly IS that "Monster" doing in Fred Schneider's pants?!

    * You can surf over to YouTube to check out the videos we featured *
    ABI-
    Lick it Up by Kiss
Let's Put the X in Sex by Kiss
Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley
(one too many Rick Rolls, Abi?)
    Whip It by Devo
    Mr. Roboto by Styx
    KAY-
    Seperate Ways by Journey
    Star Collector by The Monkees
We Built This City by Starship
    Music Time by Styx
    Monster by Fred Schneider (B52s)

    PRE-Classic Rock:
    - We featured the Christmas-ey music stylings of Fryed Chickin. Check them out at Garageband.com (http://www.garageband.com/artist/fryed_chickin)

So, thanks for staying up a little extra-late with us! Next Sunday we're looking forward to kicking the Christmas season in to high gear with all the latest from the Classic Rock world and, of course, KISS.

    Have a good week!
    - Kay
