Carpal Tunnel Pain Relief & Posture; What Does It Matter?

Carpal Tunnel Radio, April 2, 2009:  What a great show!

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome has physical causes, and posture is at the root of much of our aches & pains, so today's episode was all about posture--good and "bad"-- and how it relates to carpal tunnel issues.

My guest, Gini Maddocks, is author of an award-winning book:  R&R:  Rescue and Relief for Computer Users and Those at Risk of Repetitive Motion Injury (RMI.)  Gini always adds a lot to our discussion.  She's had almost 30 years of experience in massage therapy and stress management and rounds out our conversations with her unique perspectives.

Gini explained what good posture is and how "poor" posture causes carpal tunnel symptoms.  We talked about some ways to improve posture and reasons why it makes sense.

Actually, there is so much to talk about regarding Carpal Tunnel Syndrome & Posture, that we didn't have time to cover everything!   So, we'll continue the discussion on Thursday, April 23 at noon EST.

Next week, April 9, noon EST, my guest will be expert Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, Elizabeth Eckert, who is also an author.  That will be another great show and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you!

Hope you can join us then, but you are always welcome to listen to the archived episodes at http://www.CarpalTunnelRadio.com any hour of the day or night.
