    Original Air Date:

I AM WHAT I AM / AN ARTIST

THE CAST OF TDIA, INC 2008 PROJECT I AM WHAT I AM DISCUSS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN ARTIST ON A GLOBAL STAGE

  • Date / Time:

Where are the roles for older artists?

I am a 45 to 50 range multi-ethnic artist. And it seem to me that the availability to work seem to be more in commercials, compare to television and film where little or non existence roles are available for older actors.

I look in the mirror and I see a well preserved sexy actor who is too old to play a love interest and too young to play a senior citizen

Are you in the 45-plus character range? Are you working? If you are a female are you finding work or are you just watching the parade? Where are the roles for older artists? What does the future hold for older artists in the Biz of Show Biz?

Older artists living in the Zone please share your thoughts and insights on this matter
