Thank you for listening to my radio show Instructions To Money, downloads are up, and so are earnings for those who are willing to do what it takes.

I just launched a new network and some of you have been asking questions so here is my attempt to offset the FAQ with some info:

The RIBN (Radio Internet Broadcast Network) and sister affiliate RWBN (Radio Web Broadcast Network) are designed to help launch your broadcast career. In this initial stage we are accepting new hosts and posting their shows on the network web site.

Info & Plans:

We hope to provide a venue to hosts that will help support their shows by creating revenue generating (Money Making!) methods to sell commercials in an alternative method.

1. There is a one time set up fee, just to pay for server expansion in the initial phase.
Hosts can earn $50 for each person they sign up. The sign up page is at this link:

2. 30 Second and 60 Second spots (commercials) can be sold by hosts on the network to help earn ongoing income. The network will mix in the commercials and the costs to customers are a one time fee for one play. For example, if you sold 10 one minute spots a month at $100 each, the network splits that with you so you earn $500.

3. The Broadcasters links that comes with accepted hosts gives you tips on how to get guests for your show, where to promote your show through press releases, and how to build your own storefront web page and never have to ship anything to customers. Another way to earn money with just a little work.

4. The network RIBN plans on contracting a PR firm to help promote AM and FM radio stations to listen to our hosts, download their shows, and rebroadcast them. We also provide links on where you can get Free play commercials and public service announcements so that you can make your show sound like a big time radio show.

5. Remember, for those of you who do not have FCC 3rd class licenses, you will need to get one to be played on the AM/FM stations. It is a one time fee from the FCC and their is no test, you just fill out the application at FCC.GOV 
IMPROTANT NOTE: YOU MUST COMPLY WITH FCC STANDARDS TO BE REPLAYED ON AM AND FM STATIONS. NO FOUL LANGUAGE!
A list of FCC regulations are on the government site. So if your show has this content, you will be edited before rebroadcast for AM/FM streams.

6. Future plans include streaming the site for commercial revenue. That takes some server modifications and software that costs money. To do that, we will all have to team up and sell commercials so the network can afford it. The advantage to doing this is that once we have it up and running, the network will get commercials for your shows and split the revenue after costs with you.

7. Play unpaid commercials are listed on the broadcasters pages so that you can upload them to your blog talk or podcast sites and make your show sound like a normal radio show. Scripts are provided to help you learn what the big networks do along with a network standard clock. This is important if you get rebroadcasted to use for editing purposes. AM & FM will use that clock to edit your show and add their own commercial breaks on the national feeds.

8. I have worked in radio stations on and off for years, so if you have nay questions you can ask me via email or send via BTR on my page.

Finally, The network is one more affiliate you can add to your list of syndications when you join. That adds to your marketing and PR power when you go for jobs. Who knows who is listening? I got a phone call this week from a Satalite station about someone who is already on RIBN. We need news, music, talk left, talk right, culture, communtiy events, and additional programming to help round out the schedule. since this is a group effort Your help to help us all earn some money on this will make RIBN a success.
