  Greetings Beloveds,
  
  I just wanted to share some  information from my last show Healing through Touch with Nacala Ayele. I was speaking about The Mind Body connection and Emotions...how they are the link or bridge between the mind and the body. I went blank and  couldn't remember the name of the Neuroscientist I was quoting. Her name is Dr. Joan Borysenko. In her DVD The Power of the Mind to Heal, she speaks about neuropeptides (information molecules) that send information from the mind to the body. In the DVD she talks about the fact  that each emotion creates it's own unique mix of neuropeptides, that instantly plug into receptors and produce effects in the body (see What the Bleep?). Negative emotions create negative effects (stress), but fortunately the opposite is also true. When we habitually carry on negative self-talk and play negative movies in our minds about what's wrong, what they did to us, and how it's not fair we create Cortisone...which damages the heart, breaks down the immune system, and our memory. 
  
  Sounds like developing a habit of positive thinking, is a good idea..it could save your life.
