I own and operator an omega 3 fish oil a bottling company in the U. S. My formula orientated in Canada and is over 12 year’s olds. Six years ago when I embarked on this journey of building a bottling plant in the U. S. I found my self in a small dilemma, should I joint the ranks of the big boys, and lie to the public about my product by calling it Pharmaceutical Grade. For me the choice has always been easy, I can not lie there is no such thing as Pharmaceutical Grade fish oil. There are concentrated fish oils but that does not make them better than non- concentrates fish oil and defiantly does not make it Pharmaceutical Grade, with my integrity on the line the choice has always clear and easy.
I appreciate and respect all of the professionalism that goes into the case studies of omega 3 fish oil. What, I don’t appreciate and think is absurd is the end of some studies when someone with the title of Doctor will end the study by saying. Do not confuse the fish oil used in this study with your over the counter fish oil, the fish oil used in this study is highly concentrated, Pharmaceutical Grade fish oil. I don’t appreciate it because these Doctors are actually convinced by the manufactures of the products used in the study that the same results can only come from a concentrated fish oil that says, Pharmaceutical Grade on the bottle and costs $33.00 to $90.00 which is a lie and completely misleading. There are many people that can’t effort to pay the higher price and will go with out fish oil convinced that only the higher priced omega 3 will get results. One company states: that it takes 100 bottles of health – grade fish oil to make one bottle of Pharmaceutical Grade fish oil. Give Me a Break!
This is absolutely not true, I am the owner of Ventura Products and I am telling you, you can get the same results with my Omega 3 fish oil as you can from any concentrated fish oil at less than $10.00 per month.
As far as for the companies that use the wording Pharmaceutical Grade on their bottles I hold nothing against them but can’t help to thinking, if they are lying about one thing what else are they capable about lying about? Are their products really concentrated? For all we know it could be pet grade.
I believe the public should know the truth about the products they are buying with their hard earned money. I post my product Laboratory Results on my web-site with nothing to hind and I think all companies should do the same. We all have third party Laboratory Results for our products why not share them with our customers.
I will put my fish oil up against any fish oil no matter what it said on the bottle.

The general public doesn’t realize how advertising relates to them and their every day lives. Small companies normally have better products at much better prices but don’t have the money to advertise. The big cooperate world has inferior products but many means of advertising and controlling the public minds through their emotions. They lie, cheat and do what ever it takes to sell. A small part of the cost actually goes for the product itself. The greater cost is for advertising and making the fat cats fatter and in many cases making the public sick. Quality has nothing to do with the sale.
