"Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated" is a mass collaborative artistic re-envisioning of George A. Romero's 1968 cult classic, Night of the Living Dead. International artists and animators were invited to select scenes from the film and reinvent them through their artwork. Open to all styles, media and processes the results ran the gamut with scenes created in everything from puppet theater to CGI, hand drawn animation to flash, and oil paintings to tattoos. This cacophony of works was organized and curated across the original film's time line in order to create a completely original video track made entirely out of art. As Halloween approaches, join us on "Flashback" as we welcome the DVD's producers Rob Hauschild and Peter Gutierrez to discuss what it took to reanimate a horror classic.

"Super 70's Flashback" is now "Flashback"

Before I start, please let me thank everyone who has been kind enough to tune in to "Super 70's Flashback".  Your support and listener ship has helped make the show a success. "Super 70's Flashback" has welcomed such fantastic guests as "Land Of The Lost" star Wesley Eure, screen legend Bo Svenson and musician David Pomeranz.
"Super 70's Flashback" has gained attention on Blogtalkradio.com by being featured twice on "The Daily Mix" and a BlogtalkradioBlog feature on the interview I conducted with Bo Svenson. So, with my first taste of success, you may wonder why I have decided to replace "Super 70's Flashback" with a new show that will be called "Flashback".
The answer, quite simply, is to expand the show's possibilities and opportunities. I have been very lucky in getting the guests I wanted for "Super 70's Flashback" but I have also had to scratch so many possible guests off of my list because they really did not fit in with a 70's based show. There were also so many topics I wanted to cover on the episodes where a guest was not available that did not meet the 70's criteria. So, "Flashback" was the next logical step in the show's evolution.
So, I hope everyone who enjoyed "Super 70's Flashback" will follow me to the new "Flashback" that premieres on Saturday September 19th at 8:00 PM. Our first guest will be screenwriter Victor Miller who penned the screenplay for the original "Friday The 13th".
But, I have found myself unable to completely let "Super 70's Flashback" go. I will return "Super 70's Flashback" to the airwaves of Blogtalkradio whenever a guest or topic fits the original format. In the meantime, I hope you will all tune in for "Flashback" when it premieres on September 19th.
I would love to hear all of your thoughts and comments about "Super 70's Flashback" and the new "Flashback".
