Based out of Houston, FilmScope is dedicated to the world of film through reviews and commentary. This isn't about "important" films or "cool" flicks. This is about funny, sad, intense, passionate, wild, interesting, and sometimes insane films that you might want to shell out a good chunk of change over. That's FilmScope.
Original Air Date: 3/30/2008 9:00 PM UTC
I have already declared that Stop-Loss might be one of the year's best on my blog Filmscope.org. I'd love to hear from those who have seen the film and have their own opinions of the film. Also, we'll be talking about 21, the new film starring Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth (Are they twins? How many movies have they been in together now?)

My name is Eric Offhill, I run FilmScope, a Houston-based film site. I've been a film critic for nearly 5 years through Yahoo and Rotten Tomatoes (all of my reviews are found in the archives). FilmScope is more than just reviews, but commentary and news as well. We tackle Hollywood's biggest films as well as the small independent movies. On this show, we will be discussing the new Kimberly Pierce film Stop-Loss, which opens wide. I saw it at a sneak screening and have openly stated this will be the film to beat this year. We'll be taking calls from people who have seen the film (spoilers might come out) and maybe get a discussion going. We'll also be talking about 21, the new movie starring Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth about MIT students who take Vegas for all it's got. I'd love you to join us at 4:00 CST on Sunday March 30th for our first episode of FilmScope here on BlogTalkRadio. Until then, check out my FilmScope Blog.
