    Pastor Rick Buck will be Gary and Robin’s guest this week. Rick has served as the lead pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Barrie Ontario since 1996. He and his wife have two children. He studied at London Baptist Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary, and has recently finished the coursework for the Doctorate of Ministry program at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Rick gives leadership and oversight to the staff and ministries of Emmanuel, as well as preaching and teaching the Word of God. Join Robin and Gary this week as they talk about leading in the larger church and the lessons learned as Rick has given leadership in one of our growing Fellowship Churches.

    Developing and Sustaining the Mission

    Dr. Bill Hoyt will be joining us to talk about the key aspects for larger churches to sustain and develop their mission. Bill has incredible experience consulting and working with larger churches and the unique challenges these churches have to be effective in leadership and mission to their community. Bill was on the program a few months ago talking to us about church consultation. His book Effectiveness by the Numbers assists church leaders to count what counts in the church to fulfill its mission –making mature followers of Jesus Christ. Bill is President of NexStep Coaching and Consulting, an organization committed to enhancing the effectiveness of Christian leaders and organizations.

    Heart to Heart with Dr. Tom Finch

    Dr. Tom Finch is the new Lead Pastor at Bramalea Baptist Church in Brampton Ontario. He joins Gary and Robin in conversation this week talking about his new ministry at the church. Dr. Finch is an author, seminary professor and has lead churches in his career. Gary and Robin will also interview him about the role of suffering in our lives and the journey through his own suffering. His book “Unmapped Darkness” outlines how his own life was impacted by suffering while bringing practical assistance and a biblical pathway for those on the journey.
