Stephanie Johnson
Stephanie is the author of She’s Got Issues, Rockin Robin, Desperate Sisters, Co-Author of From Poverty to Power Moves, Married to the Badge and her latest masterpiece Lakeda, A Kiss of Erotica, which is due to release at the end of April 2008.
Lakeda, A Kiss of Erotica, which couldn’t have been done without the help of Gemail “RUSH” Reid, allowed Stephanie to share her colorful means for painting the perfect sexual encounter that is sure to entice and excite every eye and mind that dares to read Lakeda.
She’s written many songs, poems and created “one of a kind cards” for many occasions. Her hobbies include working out, shopping, writing and she’s a die hard lover of dogs.
Gemail Reid, aka RUSH
Rush has done stand up comedy for over a year. He was involved in mentoring programs in the Newark, NJ for troubled youth. He aided in the creation of Lakeda, A Kiss of Erotica, giving his boundless imagination a run for its money. His deep thinking allowed him to combine the sultry thoughts of Stephanie with his over the edge soul provoking taunts, creating a novel that is bound to addict every reader.
In his spare time he enjoys working out, relaxing, and writing. He recently completed his novel Bitter Sweet Cries and which is currently being shopped.
Together…….
Stephanie and Rush spend a lot of their time in the upcoming city of Asbury Park, perusing the many shops, talking with shop owners, or just laying back and plotting their next project. They are also entering into the acting scene so don’t be surprised of you see their faces on the big screen.
These two minds, when put together, are explosive. Both are edge jumpers when it comes to writing, fearless of any topic and write on it until the wheels fall off. The clashing of their imaginations allows them create the heat, the sting, the scar like that of a rug burn that will keep the reader coming back for more.

Exploring the inner reaches of the human spirit, soul and mind, Mo’J simultaneously resists and embraces tradition with every note. Creating music they describe as ‘Beyond Category’, Mo’J constructs melodies rich with the influences of Soul, Funk, R&B, Rock, Jazz and Latin rhythms.
Mo’J began in 2002 as a dream shared by then long-time friends Monica Lynk and Jason Anderson. Raised in Lorain, Ohio, Monica’s roots were heavily grounded in the music she sang in church as well as the chart-toppers she heard on the radio. Jason’s beginnings were equally eclectic as he internalized the classic Rock & Soul of his parents' record collection, as well as the rich jazz scene of his hometown Portland, Oregon.
As destiny would have it, both were chosen as full tuition scholarship recipients to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. There at Berklee, surrounded by a deluge of cultural & musical diversity, Mo & J found each other. As their knowledge and love for music grew, so did their friendship. In the Fall of 2003, Jason and Monica were married, and in so doing, married their individual musical styles into a new music.
Adopting a phrase commonly used by the great Duke Ellington to describe the talents of those whose music surpassed preconceived styles and formulas, Mo’J chooses to call their music “Beyond Category”. Jason and Monica have this to say about their music, “Our music is about truth. We feel that music is a living entity; it has no boundaries to hold its expression, substance, or message. We try to address current personal, spiritual, social, and political issues and inspire our listeners to expand their minds, hearts, and souls.” Choosing to use live instruments and allow their music to change and evolve through the individuality of each musician, Mo’J has rejected many of today’s common practices of entirely sequencing and programming music.
Together they have toured the world extensively and performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues. Whether performing to sold-out crowds in Japan or a handful of poverty-stricken children in Burkina Faso, Mo'J encapsulates its audience. Free to express themselves without boundaries, Mo'J speaks to the soul of every man, woman & child regardless of race, age, language or category.
