Dr. Simone Mason  

 Faith In Action is a Current Events Talk Show, featuring Ministries, Agencies, Individuals and Authors, whose work empower the Inmate, the Ex-offender and their Families.

Your Host, Dr Simone, has been in the Media and Communications arena since1985, where her first introduction to Communications, and its ability to reach the masses, began as a Student with the Private Industry Council in New Haven CT, where she studied in a Telephony Workforce Development education program.

Trained as an installer of 1A2Key Systems, PBX and PABX Electronic Phone systems.

This was just the start of a long love affair in Communications. In 1997, trained as a Television Producer, writing Copy and Scripts for Public Service Announcements and Commercials, which aired on Local Access and Network Stations in Connecticut.

In 2000, trained as a Broadcast Engineer at the Yale University Radio Station, WYBC, on 94.3 FM, hitting the air-waves as the "Radio Angel", on the Gospel Music Program, The Sweet Sounds of Praise, covering the highest peak listening hours of 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every Sunday.

Producing countless Commercials and Voiceover work, making her one of Connecticut's most heard Voices statewide. In expanding her horizons as an On-air announcer and producer, bringing her professional and award winning experience in the Environmental and Conservation fields, she went to the air-waves as the Host of a Saturday Morning Talk Show, "The Electric Drum".

Dr. Simone educated listeners on such topics as Recycling, Solid Waste Disposal methods and how and where to properly dispose of Household Hazardous Wastes; to Conserve Energy, and reducie our Carbon Footprint.

Training in the News Production Program, Dr. Simone was selected to Anchor the Morning News, for the nationally syndicated "Tom Joyner Morning Show"

In 2003, Faith In Action was launched on Yale Universitys' sister station, WYBC 1340 AM, taking her concept show, worldwide. Her total number of years at Yale University Radio Stationspans from 2000 to 2004, for a total of over 5,200 on-air hours through her Four (4) Shows.

The New Haven Register is quoted as saying that "the show has a message that doesn't get heard much, telling people they can be successful after Prison".

She then took her cites back to the television screen, creating the Faith In Action Television Show, but with a twist. FIA became a workforce development component of her Non-profit, agency, A Different Perspective, Inc., An agency working with ex-offenders, teaching them Television Production as a Vocational Skill, and where she emerged from behind the camera to Host the Show. Her experience in front of the camera ranges from local access and network television, and includes work as a Movie extra.
