VANTAGE RESORT REALTY SUPPORTS CHARITY FOR CRITICALLY ILL CHILDREN

OCEAN CITY, Md. – When Vantage Resort Realty President Brooke Pfautz searched the nation for a charity to support, he never expected to find the best choice in his neighborhood.

The Believe In Tomorrow charity is “literally six blocks up from us. It’s fate,” Pfautz says. So the Ocean City, Md. realty company has committed to supplying the charity with welcome gifts and sponsoring monthly deck bar-b-que parties for Believe In Tomorrow’s young guests.

Since 1986, Believe In Tomorrow has provided more than 300,000 overnight accommodations, helping families with critically ill children stay together during a medical crisis or take a needed vacation. The charity operates several retreats in Maryland, including two in Ocean City and DE beaches.

Pfautz hopes the deck parties will provide a comfortable place for Believe In Tomorrow families to interact and a place where the young patients can enjoy a few planned activities and donated toys.

To prepare the welcome gifts, Vantage employees procured various gifts and spent a day stuffing bags with various beach toys, glow sticks, tee shirts and other beach essentials for every visiting family at Believe In Tomorrow’s House by the Sea retreat in Ocean City. “So when families come in, there’s this nice little welcome gift waiting for them,” Pfautz says.
