Interview with Teak Rivers & The Handsome Shadows

In 2008, Teak Rivers and the Handsome Shadows beat out 21 other acts to claim the Fan's Choice Award at the Havelock Jamboree kickoff. Teak Rivers is the flip side of Gary Brown, a name Canadian music fans will recall from his successes as lead singer and principal songwriter with THE TENANTS. "Teak Rivers is actually a project I started awhile back" explains Gary "because I had some songs written that didn't fit the style of the bands I was in at the time. It seemed that my writing over time just naturally changed to my present style. As corny as it sounds every song on this project is something I have lived through. They are all heartfelt and sometimes painful songs about going through what life throws at you. There may be a little more depth to them lyrically than my earlier work, but you can still sing along or dance to them."

Sonia Bettencourt sings in English, French, Italian, Spanish & Portuguese. Born to a musically oriented family, she began singing and dancing at a very young age. With the voice of an angel, this talented artist will capture your heart from the first few notes she sings. Tune in and and learn all about this rising singing star and hear her latest music. Interview with Justin Chambers

Growing up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Justin Chambers always possessed an ear for good "home grown" country music. His musical journey, like many others began in church where he sang in the choir every Sunday. After several years of writing country music and playing for anyone that wanted to listen, he quickly became a favorite at parties and "get togethers" in his hometown of Toccoa, Georgia. He then decided to go to an open mic in March of 2009 on the square in Marietta just to see how it went. There was an instant connection with the crowd and he knew that was where he wanted to be. This talented artist is sure to impress you with his acoustic Country sound.
