SPEAK UP! is an outreach of Christian Devotions, a daily devotional ministry of inspiration, hope and Biblical teaching rooted in God's Word and written by best selling Christian authors. The devotions are delivered via email, audio and video. A devotion may be someone's only Bible for the day.
Our Faith & FINANCES devotional series is a huge success!
The mission of Christian Devotions is two-fold: First, to provide personal and relatable devotions for those who may not otherwise be exposed to the Word of God. Second, to promote Christian writing and reading. Our devotions are, at times, both bold and humorous, but never beyond the bounds of decency.
Within our roster you'll find best selling authors like, Ann Tatlock, Irene Brand, Jane Cook, Yvonne Lehman, Ron Benrey and Loree Lough. Our authors are on the cutting edge of Christian publishing.
The scope of our writer's experiences reaches beyond the successful and published, however. We are constantly seeking gifted writers with a voice, message and passion for tithing their talents, so if you know of a writer who's been called by God to write, have them contact us.
A devotion may be someone's only Bible for the day, so if you find one of our devotions touches your heart pass it on. Visit www.ChristianDevotions.us to learn more.
Each week our host, Marianne Jordan, interviews Christians making a difference in His Kingdom. Marianne has a BA Degree in Speech Telecommunications and Business from Radford University. She's worked extensively in radio, public relations and marketing development and loves cooking, the outdoors, reading, playing with her grandson and ACC basketball.
If you're interested in becoming a guest on Christian Devotions SPEAK UP! contact Marianne.

On this week's show we welcome Christian author Loree Lough will explain how God provides storylines, characters, and helps her devise realistic situations, problems, and solutions that bring Him glory.
At last count, best-selling author Loree Lough had 64 books (fiction and non-fiction for kids and adults; 1 novel optioned for a TV movie; 2 slated for 2008 and 6 contracted for 2009 release), 59 short stories, and more than 2,500 articles in print. Her stories have earned dozens of industry and “Readers’ Choice” awards, and publishers have (jokingly, she hopes) threatened to charge for the costs of forwarding large volumes of fan mail.
AND while contractually obliged to protect the artist, Loree IS allowed to brag that she "wrote several hit songs (music and lyrics!) for a Grammy-nominated C&W star." (So if you hear a couple of tear-jerkers about love gone wrong....)
Since 1990, Loree has been busy developing and teaching writing-related courses (including Writer’s Digest WOW sessions), seminars, and workshops, each geared to educate and inform, inspire and enthuse her students… hundreds of whom are now, themselves, published authors. In 1999, Loree designed THE LEADING EDGE WRITERS' STUDIOS... interactive one-day workshops structured to help authors sell, regardless of genre or skill level.
A frequent guest speaker for writers’ organizations, book clubs, private institutions, corporations, college and high school writing programs, and more.
