Biodiesel from rapeseed, soy beans and jatropha nuts can reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, although the carbon dioxide savings are relatively small. Biodiesel is already being used to an increasing extent as an additive in diesel fuel for trucks. The EU is aiming for a blend rate of 5.75% by the year 2010. How can we profit from this?
