The Black Authors Network (BAN) is dedicated to providing information to help black business owners and authors gain access to the global consumer and to helping promote the growth of black businesses and literature. The Black Authors Network, is here to bring people together, to create a dialogue, and share valuable resources. Our goal is to serve the unique needs of African American authors, to improve literacy and strengthen the image of the African American community. About the Author
Cydney Rax is the author of My Daughter's Boyfriend and My Husband's Girlfriend. Born and raised in Detroit, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University. Cydney is also an author promoter and her reviews have appeared on numerous books. Her novels have been featured in magazines such as Ebony, Essence, Upscale, Jewel, Today's Black Woman, Publisher's Weekly, Quarterly Black Review and Romantic Times Book Club Magazine.
Cydney loves to read and is the creator of Book-Remarks.com, a popular website that promotes the books of African-American writers. She has interviewed authors such as Carl Weber, E. Lynn Harris, Eric Jerome Dickey, Kimberla Lawson Roby, and dozens of others.
