I just wanted to say that I love BlogTalkRadio. Last weekend's show was really fun, and if it wasn't for some technical issues, the show probably would have been even better. When I say technical, I mean CRAZY shizz, flying around from everywhere. Here's what happened:We planned on setting up my studio to facilitate the podcast. I used to record music from home, so I have a pretty decent setup for something like this. I have a studio condensor mic that is phantom powered, a 2-channel compressor/limiter, and a nice little 8-channel mixer that powers the mic and has effects busses for the compressor. It's very basic, but very critical for a professional sounding podcast. Anyhoo, I lent the setup to one of my friends for their band to record their demo, and when I got it back, I was missing a bunch of stuff (this doesn't matter, the person I lent it to is very responsible, it was just at his house for about 8 months). I thought that the power adapter was with the board, but it wasn't, it was in my garage. I wasn't able to use anything, so we decided to do the podcast from our cell phones, which was really fun, however, some of us sounded very quiet, and the rest of us sounded very loud. All-in-all, it was a great time. I cannot wait for next weekend's show. Tune in!

This will be our first official podcast since making the switch from Talkshoe. We hope you all enjoy. Today's guest is Stewart, and he was molested for most of his youth. Come hear him talk about his struggle.

After our show on Saturday, we will officially make the switch to BTR. Our final TalkShoe show will be on Saturday the 21st. I have been struggling with the usability of talkshoe.com, and to be honest, I am totally sick of it. The site is incredibly buggy, and their shows are terrible (most of them, with the exception of very few). I use very high quality equipment, and have streamed talk shows before, but for some reason, their quality is aweful. Please understand, I am not completely dogging them out, the site is great for start-up shows, but if you need to do anything beyond the basics, you will have a very difficult time. So, I'm really excited that our podcast will move here, and I think that BlogTalkRadio.com will be a good place to stay.
