At the age of 16 years old, I was diagnosed with a mental condition to which I take several medications daily. I often hear things that I believe are from God. The things that I hear are what I call truth, they are all positive (not violent) but sometimes a little dark. I do not like violence or fighting, but I will battle, battle of the mind. BattleMann means I battle everyday in my mind to understand what I am hearing, as well as my place in this world. I battle with words to defend my belief and truth as I see it. I'm sure that as I talk to counselors, some of my thoughts may change, but the truth will stay the same.
