    Ever since I decided to interview Kathryn Bandiera, top Real Estate Agent for RE/MAX Aboutowne Reality, I've been seeing RE/MAX signs every-where!  Kind of like when I bought a blue Jetta and every-one seemed to own one!

    Kathyn shared invaluable tips during our time together.  Here is just a taste of tips she gives those who are thinking of a Real Estate career pursuit.

    1.  Know your strengths and leverage them.  If you don't know what your strengths are, ask those who know you!  They will gladly name them.

    2.  Do your research.  You can hang up your shingle once you've taken the courses and received the appropriate credentials and license. It doesn't happen overnight.  Check out your local Real Estate College.

    3.  Be a specialist.  Your clients depend on your expertise.  What are you most suited toward?  Residential or Commercial?     

    4.  You're much more than a real estate agent!  You're a trusted advisor who is expected to know your territory, environmental concerns, legal aspects ... "Your the hub".

    5.  Sharpen your inventory.  You need more than a real estate license to be successful over the long term.  You need personal and business skills.  

    6.  Real Estate is not for the routined.  There is no typical day.  9-5 doesn't exist. Flexibility and customer-service orientation are key.

    7.  Sky is the limit.  You have the potential to advance with the lifestyle you want if you remain focused, committed, driven and have patience.  Think of the "Law of Gestation".

    One thing is for sure.  With Kathryn as your Real Estate Agent, you are getting way more than a home!
