This perfect acronym was created quite by chance (LOL) ! and yet it is perfect as Rysa is the name of the creator of the Gold Ring of Enlightenment and Abundance. http://goldring.wetpaint.com/ Without Rysa or the Gold Ring, we would probably not even be doing this show, as Nancy (aka Nanineko) and Anton (Antonx) met on the Gold Ring and that is also where we learned about blog talk radio. Today we are fortunate to be able to listen to the “Earth Music” of Stuart De Usoz and hear him talk about his work, among other things as bandleader of group "SHAMAN" – which performed "Earth Music" to heal and inspire. Stuart De Usoz (day oo-sews) (USOZ, also known as Brahm Stuart and Abrahm "Abe" Stuart, grew up in New Orleans where he learned to play folk and blues guitar from early age. He has been a street musician and a merchant marine, playing in New Orleans, Austin, Boulder, Berkeley, Eugene, Seattle, Rainbow Gatherings, Nashville, Ashville, Philadelphia, New York, London, Dublin, Cork, Paris, Lyons, Barcelona, Madrid; Merchant marine (able bodied seaman) - Gulf of Mexico, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Caribbean, Atlantic. When he bought his first fiddle in 1984, he went straight to Ireland to learn to play, then NYC where he played fiddle with Celtic rock group, The Clan, East Coast, Chicago, Los Angeles. 1990 - 1996 Bandleader of group "SHAMAN" (trademarked) played around New York City, Eclectic Folk Rock specializing in Celtic Rock core sound along with New Orleans, New Age, Middle Eastern and Medieval sounds. Called music "Earth Music" to describe vision to create "music to heal and inspire". Do males and females have different mental imagery of what ascension means? The soul is without gender. We have all been males and females throughout our journeys. One of the keys to ascension, to an awakened consciousness, is balancing the polarities between masculine and feminine. Yet as we look around at the imagery of how to achieve higher consciousness, do we see a difference in the way people perceive -- not what it means or where they are going necessarily, but HOW they are going to get there? Some people think of going UP a ladder, others may see a doorway deep under the sea... And what about novels of the soul's journey such as Somerset Maugham's The Razor's Edge, where the hero was a man and the woman he loved stayed at home, or Roman Polanski's film, The Nine Gates, where two men were searching, and the woman was the Devil? There are plenty of characters in literature and film and myth and legend of the male journey, the hero's journey, but what of the female journey? How is hers different, or the same? And then there is Carolyn Myss who has said that "In our Western world we have invited / invoked the Divine into our world, but we refuse to let the soul come out. We want the interior benefits, but we do not want the journey -- because we don't have the courage." Join us as we look at these questions and try to come us with some answers! Soul vs. Personality; Big Me / little me; Inner Self / Outer Self In the creative process, how or when do we come from our higher self instead of from our lower self? How do we get in touch with Big Me, instead of fretting and worrying and putting ourselves down when we feel small and insignificant (little me)? How does one get in touch with the Universal Spirit that all great artists, whatever their medium are immediately recognizable as purveyors of? Is it true that you can never be greater as an artist than you are as a human being? What about the greats that were less than admirable in their relationships? How does one believe in himself/herself enough so that one can create in the first place, without little or no recognition on the outside? How does one become Big Me without falling victim to an inflated ego? What is okay in terms of an "artistic ego," and does it play out differently in different cultures or countries? What is the Divine Feminine, and how do we relate to it/her? How is this different for men and women? What does it have to do with the female animus, the male anima? What is it like for a man to relate to the “divine feminine”? Do women come by it naturally, or has this concept been wiped out of our consciousness for eons – until recently, of course, when it has come to the forefront again in the New Age movement. Is the Divine Feminine all Unconditional Love and Beauty, or is Kali part of her as well? So many questions! So many ways to look at it! (or “her”). She has been called Shekina, the female aspect of the highest Source of Creation. The divine mother, the original goddess, the female representative of source creation. Shekina, the indwelling one, who resides within us all. Through her it is said we will be able to embody the Christ Consciousness as she awakens the christened female in order for us to merge with the christened male. The Mary Magdalene to Jesus, representing both aspects of creation finally together, to bring peace and ascension to all.
