The Whole Child Podcast: Changing the Conversation About Education is a monthly podcast that will inform you about education polices and practices, as well as encourage you to advocate on behalf of sound education policy that ensures all children are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. The program is produced by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that represents more than 175,000 educators from 119 countries and nearly 60 affiliates. Our members span the entire profession of educators—superintendents, supervisors, principals, teachers, professors of education, and school board members. We address all aspects of effective teaching and learning—such as professional development, educational leadership, and capacity building. ASCD offers broad, multiple perspectives—across all education professions—in reporting key policies and practices.
