Dan and Jeanette are joined again by Nelson W. Pyles, horror writer, audiobook narrator, stunt musician, voice of Phineas T. Croughly (AKA The Librarian), and Executive Producer & Creator of The Wicked Library. Nelson has written multiple short stories and a novel, and is currently hard at work on two additional novels – one a sequel to Demons Dolls and Milkshakes and the other an expansion of a popular short story found in Everything Here Is A Nightmare.

Featured in this episode is a reading from Nelson’s forthcoming novel Spiders in the Daffodils.

We talk about writing, grinders, Tom Waits, how to pronounce NaNoWriMo, producing art quickly, Haiku Wednesday, Horror Haikuesday, accountability, and more. We also share some outtakes from Orson Welles, and try to sell you coffee.
