We, the so-called Negro in America, are in the midst of a tragedy of our own making. We bemoan our collective thralldom, yet intentionally disregard our only real path out of slavery and injustice. In this, the 21st century, many of us are choosing ignorance and the slavery that is its component. This ignorance keeps us in an inferior state (subjugated). The morass of ignorance in which we flail is both pervasive and profound because this is bondage we put upon ourselves. We have placed the shackles tightly around our own brains. The result being that even though our hands move, we are unable to use them to do something for self. Our feet are free to travel all over the planet, but we never arrive at a place that belongs to us. Our hearts are unable to find any worthiness in our own kind. The slavery of ignorance is dangerous because with ignorance comes stupidity and ignorance/stupidity is a life denying state.
