The city of Baltimore is in crisis. It has more homicides per capita than Chicago and more homicides total than New York (with no end in sight). It also has a police department under a Department of Justice Consent Decree and police officers of an elite gun task force indicted for breaking the law. The city to all eyes needs some solutions fast. Mayor Catherine Pugh and City Councilman Brandon Scott have each proposed a plan that they say will curtail the violence in the city. The panel will discuss whether either or both of these plans are all form and no substance. They will also examine the real factors driving violent crime and discuss whether gun violence in our communities is a disease.  With the death toll due to guns now at 301, Baltimore has more than earned its nickname of "Bodymore, Murdaland". Join the panel to discuss gun violence in Baltimore and what factors you think any solution must include.
