Angel of Light From God or Satan?  

This broadcast reviews how Mormonism claims to be the "Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ". The Gospel was restored through an angel, Angel Moroni, who appeared in a "bright light" (angel of light?) to Joseph Smith in his bedroom. (2 Corinthians 11:14 (NIV)  And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.)

We will discuss what the bible has to say about an "Angel of Light," and if it is from, God or from Satan.

The 3 most important changes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ that the Mormons have brought to the world are:

1.The Character and Nature of God.

• The Mormon's believe that God was once a man. This is NOT Biblical! If you get the Character of God wrong...you get EVERYTHING Wrong!

2.The Grace of God is Frustrated by A Religion Built on Works

• The Bible teaches that Grace is the "Gift" of God and cannot be earned by works. Mormon's teach that works are necessary to return to heaven. The book of Galations teaches; Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

3.The Word of God, the Bible, is Lost to Men.

• For the Mormon religion to be right, the entire bible must be wrong. The bible teaches that God is unchanging, his word last forever.
