The Gospel encompases the belief in the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).  We must believe Jesus is both God and Man (Colossians 2:9) and that His death on the cross is sufficient to cover all sin, apart from our works (Ephesians 2:8-9). The Biblical Scriptures warn us against believing a another, different Gospel:

GALATIANS 1:6-9: “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel.…but though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

2 CORINTHIANS 11:3-4: “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preachethanother Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”

ISAIAH 8:20: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

The Mormon Church's "Restored" Gospel is "another gospel" different from the Biblical Gospel by adding works in the Temple, baptism and the Mormon laws of righteousness to salvation and teaching that men can become gods.
