If anyone removes, rewrites or restricts any of the teachings of Christ, he should not be disregarded and exposed.  The very thing that the Mormon Church is doing today when it distorts the true Gosple of Jesus Christ and changes the Word of God was happening in the Apostle Paul's day so he warned his followers:

2 Corinthians 11:13-15: "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

There is no need for a human prophet today because Jesus is our Final Prophet (Hebrews 1:1-2) and His Words are complete and perserved in the Bible (Matthew 24:35).  Yet, the Mormons claim the Book of Mormon was needed to "restore" things missing in the Biblical Gospel, but even this is false because these doctrines are not taught in the Book of Mormon

MORMON DOCTRINES MISSING FROM THE BOOK OF MORMON AND THE BIBLE

  • Baptism and Sealing in the Mormon Temple (Mormon Temple does not resemble the Biblical Temple nor does it mention Celestial marriage. Jesus in the Bible said there is no marriage in heaven (Matthew 22:30).
  • Plurality of Gods and that men can become gods (Disagrees with the Biblical God that there is only 1 God Isaiah 43:10 and the Book of Mormon that teaches there is only one God Alma 11:28-29 and Mosiah 15:15)
  • God was once a man (Disagrees with Biblical God who is not a man Hosea 11:9 and the Book of Mormon that teaches God never changes Moroni 8:18).
