Former Bishop Lee and Kathy Baker comment on the Feb 29, 2012 Official Newsroom Press Release from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Feb 29, 2012 - “It is not known precisely why, how or when this restriction began in the Church, but it has ended.”

Brother Lee explains how legalism and works-based salvation in Mormonism caused the Church to change doctrine and then goes into the history of the Mormon view of the blacks being cursed. It began with the racist statements in the Book of Mormon (2 Nephi 5:21, Jacob 3:5, 8-9, Alma 3:6) and then 2nd LDS Prophet, Brigham Young, banned the blacks from holding the Mormon Priesthood necessary to enter LDS temples.
