Former Mormon Bishop Lee Baker answers the questions of African Listeners who were offended when they heard Brother Baker claim that the Mormon Church teaches racism in their Book of Mormon Scriptures. While Africans claimed Bishop Lee is not telling the truth, he responded in love, showing the evidence directly from the current edition of the Book of Mormon itself, the very Scripture that all Mormons claim they believe:

2 Nephi 5:21: “And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursingbecause of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.” -- Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon is racist, and these racist statements prove that this book is NOT from God. All Mormons, both black and white, regardless of their color of skin should be offended that the Book of Mormon says that blacks are cursed because of the color of their skin. God is not racist. We know these statements are not from God because God loves all men, regardless of their skin color:

ROMANS 2:11; 3:22: “For there is no respect of persons with God.…Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.…” -- The KJV Bible
