There are three sites in the United States that Olympic snow sports will be showcased during Sprint Grand Prix competition and one of those sites is at my home mountain, Copper Colorado. On January 8 to 12 I was at Copper mountain watching the aerial daredevils on board and skis attack the half pipe and any number of man-made challenges placed on the snow. I leave it to the USOC or FIS to define and describe the events while I focus on the amazing effort of potential US Olympic medalists such as Shawn White, Louie Vito, Elana Hight, or Lindsey Vonn.
The teams have yet to be defined but this short list more likely than not have spots on the USSA Olympic rosters. Listen to askLowell and hear interviews with Louie Vito, USSA officials and US fans anxious to see us compete in 2014.
