Leading off the 31 Voices March--A Women's History Project-- is Deirdre Bair, award-winning biographer of Anais Nin and Simone de Beauvoir.  We'll ask her about women's history, feminist issues, and culture.

A literary journalist, Ms. Bair writes and lectures internationally. She received the National Book Award for Samuel Beckett: A Biography. Her biography of C.G. Jung won the Gradiva Award from the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis.

She is currently working on a biography of New Yorker cartoonist and artist, Saul Steinberg.
