The 24hrmom show is dedicating to bringing awareness to health issues that can affect us. November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. Many of us know of someone who is Diabetic or Pre-Diabetic. You can live a long life with diabetes if you change your eating habits and excercise. If you have not gotten your blood sugar tested because of the fear of unknown , then you should especially if it is very dominate in your family. Your Health is serious. Although October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month ALL women should conduct monthly breast self-examinations and get there mammograms at age 40.Take care of you first

  Join the mission to self aware on Breast Cancer
  

  This event page was not created for you to call in to the 24hrmom show or any other purposes but to encourage you to inspire others to take precedence over there health as well as yours. It is a must that we check ourselves first and not wait till something tragic occurs. It is known that Americans are not often concern with getting there annual physicals, required blood tests, dental visits and mammograms because we are afraid of the unknown. We are so consume with daily life routines that our schedules seem to be overflowing and we neglect ourselves. We can not continue to do that. We must make time and put in to our schedules to check out our health. Early detection is the key to a longer life of any diagnosis. This event is not only for women but as well as men.
  
  In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month share with me your stories of what you are doing to contribute to the Breast Cancer Awareness cause. I encourage you to invite your friends, family and loved ones on your Face book pages to join this event page on this mission to self aware all about the Breast Cancer Awareness. This event is not only for women but as well as men, although cases of men getting breast cancer is not high it does occur so yes MEN check your breasts as well. Early detection is the key.
  
  Join me on Monday, October 5, 2009, as we will change our Facebook profile pictures to the Pink ribbon to show our commitment to aware all on breast cancer and as well as our first priority of taking care of us first.
  
  Through out the month of the October, I will ask that you participate in any of the following bulleted items below.
  • Encourage a women, mother, sister, friend and remind them of getting there mammogram
  • Wear a pink ribbon
  • Wear a Pink Shirt
  • Put on your facebook message information about breast cancer or checking your health
  • Check your breasts in the shower or in your quiet time
  • Participated in a walk in your community
  • Donate to the breast cancer cause
  • Get information about what is breast cancer is from you doctor or a local office of American Cancer Society
  • Ask a man has he check his breasts
  • Encourage someone to join this event
