I was reading this article this morning and it was talking about how staying hydrated is very important for us to do. According to the NAPSA, the article goes on to talk about how we take for granted the amount of liquid we consume. It also stated that we should consuming about 48 ounces of fluids everyday. I thought that this interesting because I ask the question, Does my family consume that much fluid a day? My family drinks alot of fluids because they are thirsty but are they doing even if they are not. My children are very active this summer and I will defintely be making sure that pump more fluids in there systems.
The article goes on to say that there are many ways to stay hydrated and one of them are drinking TEA. OOH!! I love Tea. I love any kind of TEA, Green Tea, Raspberry Tea, Lemon Tea just tea it self. Fitness expert Trainer of Oprah Winfrey, Mr. Bob Green says that Tea is a natural source of antioxidants that can be tasty way to stay hydrated.
Tips that Bo Green says to your family hydrated:
1. Drink throughout the day, not just when you are thirsty.
2. Daily Fluid requirements can change according to you exercises intensity and the weather
3. Headaches, dry eyes , drowsiness and even muscle cramps are all signs of inadequate fluid consumption.
4. Keep it fun by mixing i up your beverage intake wit this a delicious fruity Green tea citrus, Sangria sweetened by honey..
A drink for you and your family to enjoy
Green Tea Citrus Sangria
Prep time: 10 minutes
Brew time: 3 minutes
Chill Time: 2hours
Serving size 8
4 cups boiling water
6 Lipton green tea with citrus tea bags
2tbsp honey
3 cups, assorted fruit( sliced kiwi, berries, and plums
2 cups chilled white cranberry juice
Pour boiling water over tea bags :cover and brew 3minutes.Remove tea bags and squeeze. Stir in Remaining ingredients in pitcher: cool. Serve over ice. Enjoy
