Kim Crayton and Amani Edwards discuss the 21st century skill of international education.
Amani Edwards was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and graduated from the Atlanta Girls' School in 2008. She attended Beloit Colleg in Beloit, WI where she participated on the volleyball and track and field team, was a Ronald E. McNair Scholar (completing two research projects), and a member and leader of various clubs and organizations. During one of her summers, she completed an internship and a research project in Taipei, Taiwan in 2011. She graduated in 2012, and afterwards traveled to Russia on a J. William Fulbright award. During her nine months in Russia, she taught English at a university in Novosibirsk - the third largest Russian city and the largest city in Siberia. She has now returned to the USA and is currently a Doctoral Student in the Department of Public Administration and Policy at SUNY Albany.
