Douglas Frosst is currently a senior partner at South River Partners, a marketing strategy and communications firm located in Ottawa.  Douglas brings more than 20 years of marketing and technology experience to the partnership, and is responsible for research, market analysis, strategy development, and writing for clients. His primary area of expertise is communicating technical material to a non-technical audience, primarily at the executive level. Recent relevant work includes articles and blog posts bylined for senior executives, customer-facing reports and position papers, and media briefing documents.

Douglas holds a Master’s of Applied Science in systems and computer engineering, and is comfortable and conversant with many different aspects of the technology world. He has written for CEOs, CIOs, and Chief Security Officers, and has a reputation for timely delivery of results that are engaging and easy to read, but not condescending to the target audience.

Prior to joining South River Partners in 2006, Douglas led a series of projects over 10 years at Cisco Systems, culminating in leadership of the Executive Thought Leadership team, in the office of the CEO. In this role, he researched a wide variety of technical and business topics, and produced reports, articles, and speeches for Cisco’s CEO and senior executives.
