Played one season at Miami (Wake Forest Transfer) and started all twelve games of the season in his first and only year in Coral Gables ... Tallied 29 tackles on the season, including two tackles for loss ... Recorded a season high and tied for the team lead with eight tackles in the season opener against Maryland ... Had five tackles against North Carolina ... One-year letterwinner. Prior to Miami, Williams was successful, during his sophomore season in 2009, he started the first four games at corner before suffering a pulled hamstring against Boston College (Sept. 26). Tied for the team lead with a career-best eight tackles against Stanford. In 2008 as redshirt freshman Williams was a reserve corner and special teams performer, seeing action in six games, enough to secure his first varsity letter ... Recorded tackles against Miami (Oct. 25) and Vanderbilt (Nov. 29) ... Logged time on the kickoff and punt return squads. Redshirted the 2007 season. In high school Williams played quarterback and safety. Ran a 4.4 40-yard dash ... Owned a 35-inch vertical leap ... The 2006 Palm Bay Track Athlete of the Year.
