Hi and welcome to “Those Darn Guys Who Happen to be Therapists” We are psychologist Dr. Jim Weaver, psychotherapist Hughes Kraft and couples therapist Dr. David Sanford. Between the three of us we have had a zillion years (actually it rounds off to about 85 years) of experience which we would like to share with the greater Podisphere. We hope to be serious and helpful and also to have some fun. Because laughter is one of our greatest assets in tough times or dealing with tough issues. We hope you will join us as we try to bring some modest insights into the issues of Life, Love and the Search for a decent relationship and a fulfilling, passionate and productive time on this planet. We will be having frequent guests, because, in spite of all those years mentioned above, we sometimes amazingly all slept during some of the lessons on some important subjects. So we need to bring in people who were actually paying better attention. You can help us by calling in or writing in with your questions, comments, suggestions and critiques. Let us know what is of interest to you and also what guests you would like to hear from. Or guests you need because on some subjects we are just plain lame. We plan to be on live every Monday morning at 10am to start the week out right. Or to see if we can figure out what went wrong over the last week or even further back than that. There you can call us or use the chat in Real Time. If anybody really know what time it is. (Apologies to the band Chicago) If you can’t be with us at 10am Mondays we hope that you will listen to our archived shows. Maybe we will actually get lucky and do a show so good you would want to share it with your friends or even listen to a show more than once. We won’t hold our collective breathes on that happening (we need all the air we can get) but we can always hope. I mean if Barack Obama (my spell checker did not recognize either the word “Barack” or “Obama”) can be elected president, we can dream that we just might be able to come up with a dynamite show. Maybe even more than one. Wow, I really am starting to have delusions of grandeur, and that is a clinical condition. I need to stop and rest. We look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and including you in our blogging, poding family.
