Listen in as Leigh interviews actress, author, and Talk Radio Host, Janine Turner as she discusses her new foundation, "Constituting America". Leigh will then address the start of the school year and share some Clasical Conversations updates and growth throughout the summer.
Janine is best known for her role as Maggie O'Connell' in the Emmy Award-winning CBS series, Northern Exposure, for which she earned three Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy nomination. Janine has also starred in the top rated, hit Lifetime series, Strong Medicine and NBC’s critically acclaimed, Friday Night Lights. She has starred in numerous films including Cliffhanger with Sylvester Stallone, Robert Altman’s Dr. T and the Women, and Steel Magnolias and as June Cleaver in the feature film version of, "Leave it to Beaver."
She is the author of the Washington Post bestseller book, "Holding Her Head High: 12 Single Mothers Who Championed Their Children and Changed History."
Janine is an avid reader and writer, with a passion for history and politics.
