    Alan wrote the screenplay for AMERICAN BEAUTY and he won the Academy Award for the film—and Ball’s screenplay—received overwhelming critical acclaim. In March 2000, AMERICAN BEAUTY won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, with Best Original Screenplay honors going to Ball.Staying close to his roots in television, Ball followed up AMERICAN BEAUTY by creating and executive producing the groundbreaking HBO drama SIX FEET UNDER.     Angus Wall was most recently nominated for his editing work on “The Curios Case Of Benjamin Button” and numerous other awards. He is also the EMMY award-winning creative director behind the main title sequences for HBO's original series "Carnivale," "Deadwood," "Rome" and "Big Love." Wall is also the founder of LA visual effects and design company a52, whose artists have often made major contributions to his main title projects for HBO, most notably on "Carnivale," winner of the 2004 EMMY Aw - ard, and "Rome," a 2006 EMMY and British Academy Television Craft Best Titles award nominee.
