    Alan wrote the screenplay for AMERICAN BEAUTY and he won the Academy Award for the film—and Ball’s screenplay—received overwhelming critical acclaim. In March 2000, AMERICAN BEAUTY won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, with Best Original Screenplay honors going to Ball.Staying close to his roots in television, Ball followed up AMERICAN BEAUTY by creating and executive producing the groundbreaking HBO drama SIX FEET UNDER. It was also one of the most honored, snaring two Golden Globes and six Emmys, among numerous awards. It also netted Ball an Emmy and DGA Award for his direction of the series pilot, his directorial debut. In 2008, Ball continued his successful collaboration with HBO by creating and executive producing the series TRUE BLOOD. Based on the novel, Dead Until Dark, one of the Southern Vampire series of books by Charlaine Harris, TRUE BLOOD garnered early critical and popular acclaim, and in its first season received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Drama Series.     Angus Wall was most recently nominated for his editing work on “The Curios Case Of Benjamin Button” and numerous other awards. He is also the EMMY award-winning creative director behind the main title sequences for HBO's original series "Carnivale," "Deadwood," "Rome" and "Big Love." Wall is also the founder of LA visual effects and design company a52, whose artists have often made major contributions to his main title projects for HBO, most notably on "Carnivale," winner of the 2004 EMMY Aw - ard, and "Rome," a 2006 EMMY and British Academy Television Craft Best Titles award nominee. Having created the main titles for HBO's original series "John From Cincinnati" in 2007 along with his fellow a52 and Rock Paper Scissors artists, Wall recently launched Santa Monica-based datalab, a company specializing in implementing digital workflows for high-profile film and television projects. Recent offerings from his longstanding legacy of editing high-profile, award-winning commercials and music videos for top ad agency creatives, directors and recording artists include David Fincher's Nike "Fate" commercial, which Creativity Magazine ranked among its best ads of 2008, as well as the on-air promos for David Fincher's Academy Award(R) winning feature film, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."     Conrad W. Hall, director of photography, is the son of celebrated cinematographer, the late Conrad L. Hall, and the grandson of MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY co-author James Norman Hall. He is a graduate of the USC and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Lisa and two children Logan and Jordan.     Profile: Alex Winter - Actor & Filmmaker

    After attending NYU film school, Winter went on to have starring roles in several feature films, including Orion's huge hit "Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure" and it's sequel "Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey", the Warner Brothers cult favorite "The Lost Boys" among others. Winter co-created many influential comedy projects with partner Tom Stern, which they wrote, directed and starred in. Among them is the MTV series, "The Idiot Box", and their theatrical directing debut, "Freaked", released by Twentieth Century Fox. "Freaked" has been acclaimed by critics, including The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly, who heralded the film on their list of "Top Ten Greatest Comedies Of The Nineties." The film also stars Randy Quaid, Keanu Reeves, Brooke Shields and Mr. T. Alongside his feature projects, Winter continues to enjoy a successful career directing commercials and music videos, both in America and in the U.K. He has covered campaigns for Peugeot, Pringles and Ford in the U.K., and award-winning spots for Supercuts and Google in the U.S. His music videos include: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Helmet, Bootsy Collins, and Ice Cube.
