ADRIAN HODGES began his career writing about film and television for the trade magazine Screen International. Following a stint as development head at the government film funding office British Screen, where he worked on a wide range of British films,  His first completed script THE BRIDGE, was filmed by the UK's Channel 4 in 1991 and starred Saskia Reeves and David O'Hara. Following this he co-wrote TOM AND VIV which won Academy Award nominations for Miranda Richardson and Rosemary Harris. His other film work includes METROLAND, starring Christian Bale and Emily Watson, and, most recently MY WEEK WITH MARILYN, which also won Academy Award nominations for its stars Michelle Williams and Ken Branagh, was nominated and numerous other awards. Adrian has always worked in both film and television and his TV work includes adaptations of DAVID COPPERFIELD, which introduced the world to a young actor named Daniel Radcliffe, and also won a Peabody award. His mini-series CHARLES II - THE POWER AND THE PASSION won the UK's prestigious BAFTA award for best serial drama in 2003.
