SHELDON TURNER co-wrote UP IN THE AIR, for which he received an Oscar nomination (adapted screenplay) and awards from the Writers Guild of America, the National Board of Review, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (Golden Globe), the British Academy of Film and Television Artists, the Broadcast Film Critics, USC Libraries (Scripter Award) and 12 additional organizations. Turner’s credits also include the 2011 summer hit, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, Paramount’s remake of THE LONGEST YARD, starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock and THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING.Turner is currently working on various projects in both film and television at several studios; including EVEREST for director Doug Liman, the video game adaptation of InFAMOUS, and BLOWBACK, to star Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper, all at Sony; GO DOWN TOGETHER: THE TRUE, UNTOLD STORY OF BONNIE AND CLYDE for director Neil Burger. Turner will make his directorial debut this fall with his screenplay, TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT, starring Eric Bana.Turner graduated from Cornell University before enrolling in NYU Law School.
